JK2 General
1. How to open the JK2 Console?
Once in the game hold "Shift" + "~"
2. How to color you're name?

3. How to make you're name have more characters in it (letters, numbers, etc.)?

4. How many main skills are in JK2?
Four; Force Fighting, Dueling, Guns, and Strafing. Force Fighting is the most major one however.
5. How to install a custom skin?
After you have downloaded you're skin (like from "jk2files" for example); if it's a Zip/Rar file, you have to extract it using the programs WinZip or WinRar. Then it usually extracts a readme file and a .pk3 file (which is the skin). You put the .pk3 file into this directory: "...\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base." So now you should see you're skin in the skin selection menu when you're playing JK2!
6. How to install a custom map?
After you have downloaded you're map (like from "jk2files" for example); if it's a Zip/Rar file, you have to extract it using the programs WinZip or WinRar. Then it usually extracts a readme file and a .pk3 file (which is the map). You put the .pk3 file into this directory: "...\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base." So now you should be able to play at the map when you click "Create Server" or play on the map when other servers are running that map. Also Note: Make sure you have the latest version of the map, or problems may happen if you're playing on a server which has a different version of the same map.
7. Why Can't people see my skin?
In order for people to see you're skin, they must have it also. Or else by default if they don't have it they will usually see a "Kyle" skin instead.

9. What are Bots?
There are two definitions of this word: 1. A Computer Bot/NPC (You can usually tell a bot from a real person by looking at there pings. Bots have 0 ping, and people always have more then 0 ping) 2. A Program used to auto-aim for you, also called "Aim-Botting."

JK2 Terms:
10. What is laming?
Laming is when you attack someone with there saber down. Some clans even have a rule to not lame because it can annoy some players.
11. What is chatkilling?
Chatkilling is when you attack someone with while there chatting or with there chatbox on.
12. What is a dfa? dfa is the abbreviation for "Death From Above" There are currently two dfa types: Yellow dfa & Red dfa.
13. What are the terms: "ls," "ds," "lser," "dser," & "abs?"
Lightside, DarkSide, LightSider, DarkSider, & Absorb.
14. What is PK?
A "PK" is a "Pull Kick," this happens when you pull you're opponent and kick them at almost the same time.
15. What is GK?
A "GK" is a "Grip Kick," this happens when you grip you're opponent and while griping them you kick them. There are various different grip kick combinations.
16. What is Strafing?
Strafing is the act of moving laterally (i.e. to either side) without turning. Because of the way the Doom/Quake engine works, different combinations of the strafe on, directional strafe, and forward keys can cause the player to move faster than the normal running speed
17. What is Evc?
Evc is the username of a popular Script/Bot/Hacks creator for JK2. Whenever someone says "they are Evcing," it means that they are using a Hack created by Evc.
